ZStack Cloud 5.3.40

On July 18, 2025, ZStack Cloud officially released its new version, ZStack Cloud 5.3.40, covering a number of important features described in details below.

Highlights

  • CBD Primary Storage Enhancements: Adds new support for VM instant full clone and supports MDS nodes display and O&M.
  • Vhost (XEBS-XINFINI) Primary Storage Enhancements: Integrates with XEBS-XINFINI 6.8.200.2 and supports VM HA, snapshot rollback, linked clone, instant full clone, and flatten.

VM GuestTools Adds New GuestOS Support: Amazon Linux 2023

Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.3.40, the VM GuestTools now supports Amazon Linux 2023 as a GuestOS.

GuestTools integrates multiple performance-enhancing and functional extension tools and programs, such as QGA and internal monitoring agent. With GuestTools, you can extend VM instance capabilities such as internal monitoring, configuration deployment, and configuration retrieval.
