Preparations
To use the Continuous Data Protection (CDP) service, you need to finish the following preparations:
- Make sure that you have upgraded to the latest version of ZStack Cloud, and installed the Plus License of Continuous Data Protection (CDP).
Note: A ZStack Cloud 4.8.10 or later version is recommended. - Make sure that you have an existing VM instance with no backup job created.
- Make sure that you have prepared a storage server in local data center as the local backup server, and the storage server is not reused as a host.
- Make sure that you have planned a storage network and a backup network. We recommend that you use at least 10 Gigabit NICs for your backup network.
